WHY F-STOP?
Let's start from the beginning.
My first F-stop pack, the Tilopa. Fresh into my filmmaking career I stuffed this thing full of camera gear and set off on a journey to the farthest reaches of Patagonia, chasing world class Kayakers on a quest to paddle one of the most infamous stretches of whitewater on the planet. I strapped it to the top of a chicken bus and bounced my way to tip of Chile on an adventure that shaped the rest of my life.
That was 13 years ago.
Since that first adventure with my trusty Tilopa. I’ve carried that pack across glaciers in Alaska, over mountain tops of Kyrgyzstan, and down 18 thousand foot peaks in Mexico - all in an effort to create images that capture the timeless beauty of these vast landscapes and the people that move through them.
After that first Tilopa pack I've added a few more packs to the quiver - smaller, lighter, more specialized. A pack specific to each adventure.
I trust each of these packs with not just my camera gear, but my livelihood, and I put my faith in them to support me in far off places. I use them day in and day out year after year. Pushing the packs, my gear, and myself to the limits (sometimes beyond) and come back with stories to share with the world.
I couldn't imagine using any other pack for the type of work I do.
